Arisawa Shotaro was born in the Hyogo prefecture on September 28th, 1995, and belongs to the Cast Corporation agency just like Hashimoto Shouhei. His first notable role was that of Kunimi Akira in the Haikyuu!! stageplay, and has since graduated from that role to move on to his most famous role yet: Izuminokami Kanesada in the Touken Ranbu Musicals. He has also appeared in other stageplays such as Yuugeki as Sho and Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau (KujiSuna) as Shuan, as well as Nanatsu no Taizai (Nanasute) as Ban. Recently he has released two DVDs of his travels in Australia and has a Gekkan photobook coming in December. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing baseball and is also adept at volleyball and gymnastics. His self-proclaimed “charm point” is his 91cm legs, and his favorite food is tomatoes - he once queued up at Starbucks to try a new peach drink and ended up buying tomato juice in the end!
