Summary:
This is an annual year-end performance that has all sword warriors from previous shows gathered together, and thus features both musical and live songs from those shows. The plot of this performance revolves around Kashuu Kiyomitsu who has to choose between the Sanjou team (Atsukashiyama Ibun) and the Shinsengumi team with Hachisuka Kotetsu (Bakumatsu Tenrouden).

Summary:
The second annual year-end performance featuring all sword warriors (with the exception of Horikawa Kunihiro and Yamatonokami Yasusada due to their actors’ scheduling conflicts) who have gathered together to perform live and musical songs. The show goes with the storyline that with the arriving winter weather, Nikkari Aoe comes up with the idea for the sword warriors to warm themselves up by telling ghost stories.

Summary:
Travelling to the end of the Bakumatsu era, the team comes in contact with what remains of the Shinsengumi and their fight alongside the pro-Tokugawa forces. While all the Bakumatsu swords are concerned with their mission’s unusual circumstances, this seems to affect Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro, the swords of Hijikata Toshizo, in particular.

*The original actor for Kogitsunemaru, Kitazono Ryo, was diagnosed with retinal detachment prior to the scheduled performance. Due to the severity of his condition, he was required to undergo surgery and treatment, and as a result was not present during the Paris performance. Afterward, it was announced that ensemble member Iwasaki Daisuke would stand in for Kitazono during the musical portions of the Tokyo performances when it became necessary for Kitazono to undergo further treatment, while Kogitsunemaru’s part would be omitted from the live portions entirely.

Summary:
The third annual end of the year performance celebrated Japanese Matsuris. The only swords not in attendence were Kashuu Kiyomitsu and Ookurikara. The Touken Danshi split into teams, West and East, to honor different types of Matsuri themes while Tomoe was the judge. Tomoe was also trying to find out more about his past in between the festivities.
