Summary:
In this collaboration, Touken Ranbu musical had the opportunity to throw the first pitch and perform on the Tokyo Dome field prior to the game. Mikazuki Munechika, played by Kuroba Mario, threw the first pitch on behalf of the Touken Danshi. Below are some videos from the game. After the pitch was thrown and they had performed, the cast (along with Ryo Kitazono, aka Kogitsunemaru) could be seen in a private box in the stands watching the game.

Summary:
It has been decided that 19 sword warriors from the Touken Ranbu Musical cast will be appearing in the annual NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen performance on New Year’s Eve! More commonly known as Kouhaku, the production’s prestige is so much that artists and groups can only attend via invitation, and a huge step towards international recognition for performers who are invited due to the show’s popularity and reach. For the 69th Kouhaku Uta Gassen, the sword warriors will be performing a version of the main song “Touken Ranbu” titled “Shutsujin: Kouhaku Uta Gassen”, as well as making an appearance in fellow artist Yamauchi Keisuke’s performance “Sarase Fuyu no Arashi ~Touken Danshi Collaboration Special”.
NHK World Songs of Tokyo

Songs of Tokyo is a program by the Japanese TV channel NHK, broadcasted on its international service NHK World, as part of the campaign to showcase Japan’s music and culture to the rest of the world in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. In the November edition of this program, 12 Touken Danshi were chosen from Touken Ranbu Musical cast to perform, under the team name “Formation of TOKYO”. The following Touken Danshi attended the performance, and after performing the (national anthem) title song “Touken Ranbu”, the remaining four songs were linked together and sung as a medley.

New Performances!
A Touken Stage Performance was announced in late October/early November. The Cast, Dates, Summary are still TBD. However, it is set to run for 2019!
During Shinken Ranbu Sai 2018, Musical Touken Ranbu announced Genji Shutsujin (dates), Kashuu Kiyomitsu Solo Asia Tour, and a Fall Musical (no details released).

Back in November, Mihotose No Komoriuta was announced for a rerun to be running from January 2019 to March 2019.
​
Ookurikara, originally performed by Zaiki Takuma, has been recasted to be performed by Makishima Hikaru.
